The sensations felt during laser hair removal treatment are described as little pinches or like snapping a rubber band against your skin. While it may be slightly uncomfortable, most patients say that this pain is far less than waxing in more sensitive areas of the body such as the bikini line.
There are three hair growth cycles, and laser treatments must be scheduled to catch the “anagen” growth phase, which occurs every 4-6 weeks. Following your consultation with one of our cosmetic doctors, a treatment plan will be put in place based on the density of the hair being treated. Typically 6-10 treatments are required to target active hair follicles and achieve the best results.
