Neuromodulators
Botox®, Dysport® & Daxxify® Precision Muscle Relaxation. Smooth, Refreshed Expression.
Neuromodulators are injectable treatments that temporarily relax the facial muscles responsible for dynamic expression lines, softening wrinkles caused by repetitive movement and restoring a more rested, refreshed appearance. Results are predictable, reversible, and refine naturally over the days following treatment.
What Are Neuromodulators?
Neuromodulators are purified forms of botulinum toxin type A — a neurotoxic protein that, in precise therapeutic doses, temporarily interrupts the signal between nerve endings and muscle fibers. When injected into a targeted muscle, the neurotransmitter acetylcholine is blocked at the neuromuscular junction, preventing contraction. The result is controlled, localized muscle relaxation that softens the overlying skin and reduces the appearance of dynamic wrinkles.
All three products offered — Botox®, Dysport®, and Daxxify® — are FDA-approved botulinum toxin type A formulations. They share the same mechanism of action but differ in molecular structure, diffusion characteristics, onset time, and duration. Product selection is guided by treatment area, patient history, and clinical preference.
Botox® (OnabotulinumtoxinA) The most widely used and extensively studied neuromodulator globally. Botox® has a well-established safety and efficacy profile across cosmetic and therapeutic indications. Onset typically 3–5 days; full effect at 10–14 days. Duration 3–4 months.
Dysport® (AbobotulinumtoxinA) A slightly smaller molecular formulation that tends to diffuse more broadly from the injection site — making it particularly well-suited for larger treatment areas such as the forehead. Onset often noted as faster than Botox®, sometimes within 2–3 days. Duration 3–4 months.
Daxxify® (DaxibotulinumtoxinA-lanm) The newest FDA-approved neuromodulator, distinguished by its proprietary peptide exchange complex (RTP004) which replaces human serum albumin as a stabilizing protein. Daxxify® is the longest-lasting botulinum toxin type A currently available — with clinical trials demonstrating median duration of 6 months, and up to 9 months in some patients. Onset 2–3 days.
Why Choose Neuromodulators?
Predictable, reproducible results Botulinum toxin type A has decades of clinical data behind it. When placed correctly, outcomes are consistent, controllable, and refined to your specific anatomy and movement patterns.
No downtime Treatment is completed in minutes. Most patients return to normal activities immediately — with no recovery period, wound care, or visible procedure signs in the days that follow.
Preventative benefit Regular neuromodulator treatment reduces the repetitive muscle contractions that etch dynamic lines into static wrinkles over time — making it as effective for prevention as it is for correction.
Three formulations, one goal Offering Botox®, Dysport®, and Daxxify® allows your clinician to match the right product to your anatomy, treatment area, lifestyle, and desired duration — rather than applying a one-size-fits-all approach.
Treatment Areas
Forehead
Soften horizontal forehead lines while maintaining natural movement for a smoother, rejuvenated look.
Frownlines
Minimize the appearance of the “11s” between the brows by relaxing the muscles responsible for deep frown lines and unwanted tension.
Crow's Feet
Smooth and soften the fine lines that form around the eyes from years of smiling and expression, creating a refreshed and well-rested appearance.
Masseters (Jawline Slimming & Relief)
Relax the jaw muscles to help relieve clenching and grinding while creating a softer, more contoured facial profile.
Hyperhidrosis
(Excessive Sweating)
Reduce excessive sweating in areas such as the underarms, hands, or feet with targeted treatment designed to improve confidence and daily comfort.
Neck Bands
(Nefertiti Lift)
Improve the appearance of neck bands and create a smoother, more defined jawline and neck contour with strategic neuromodulator placement.

- Discussion of product options, dosing approach, placement strategy, and realistic outcome expectations.
- Skin cleansed and injection points marked. Treatment areas and technique confirmed with the patient before injections begin.
- Neuromodulator administered by the clinician. Fine-gauge needles used throughout — discomfort is minimal and brief.
- Post-care guidance provided; any restrictions confirmed. Follow-up appointment scheduled for 2-week review and touch-up assessment if needed.
Frequently Asked Questions
What's the difference between Botox®, Dysport®, and Daxxify®?
All three are botulinum toxin type A and share the same mechanism — temporarily relaxing targeted muscles. They differ in molecular formulation, diffusion profile, onset, and duration. Botox® is the most established; Dysport® diffuses slightly more broadly and may onset faster; Daxxify® is the longest-lasting option currently available, with results typically persisting 6 months or more. Your clinician will recommend the most appropriate product for your treatment areas and goals.
Will my face look frozen?
Not with a conservative, anatomy-first approach. The goal is softening — not elimination — of movement. Precise dosing and placement preserve natural expression while reducing the lines that form from repetitive muscle activity. Results should look like a rested version of you.
How soon will I see results?
Daxxify® and Dysport® may show initial results within 2–3 days. Botox® typically takes 3–5 days to begin working, with full effect at 10–14 days. A 2-week follow-up allows for assessment and any minor adjustments.
How long do results last?
Botox® and Dysport® typically last 3–4 months. Daxxify® is clinically demonstrated to last a median of 6 months — with some patients maintaining results up to 9 months. Duration varies by individual metabolism, muscle mass, treatment area, and dosing.
Can neuromodulators be combined with other treatments?
Yes — neuromodulators are commonly used alongside dermal fillers, biostimulators, laser treatments, and PRF for comprehensive facial rejuvenation. Sequencing and timing matter; your clinician will advise on the optimal combination approach for your goals.
Is there any downtime?
No significant downtime. Most patients return to normal activities immediately. Minor bruising or redness at injection sites typically resolves within 24–48 hours. Strenuous exercise should be avoided for 24 hours post-treatment.
When to Schedule Your Treatment
Plan your treatment 2 weeks before you want results to take effect, and at least 4 weeks ahead of any special event for optimal results. Maintain your results with treatments every 3 – 6 months.
